Mission
We are here to provide a safe, warm, supportive and collaborative environment for children and their family. We want to enhance happy times and nurture human interactions and an appetite for learning while children and adults play, work and partake in hands-on activities and projects. We want each child to develop a sense of wonder, purpose and competence.
Philosophy
We are here to engage and inspire. We provide diverse opportunities for children to develop socially, intellectually, physically and emotionally. We give our students freedom of choices and respect, while we encourage everyone to try new things. We believe it is important to develop broad interests and a broad palate for healthy foods. We plan and prepare meals together. We help students transform their questions and interests into projects and experiments. We have projects that last all year and we also introduce new concepts with activities, based on themes, that combine arts and sciences.

Because we are located in a house, children feel at home: the atmosphere is comfortable and stress-free!

Here children are really involved in preparing meals and that is the best way to learn to love many different foods and understand the difference between foods that are nutritious and those that are unhealthy.

We love the dynamics of a group of children with mixed ages. It is amazing how wonderful this is. We love to observe the problem solving skills that our young students learn from the older ones, and the pride that the older students feel to show others how to do it! Taking-on the role of teacher is the best way to solidify one's own knowledge.

Mixing ages allows children to find peers in different areas of development, it lessens competition, increases nurturing and improves student's understanding of how everyone is different and similar.
