    • Design and deliver an interdisciplinary, emergent project-based curriculum.

    • Integrate Tennessee Standards to ensure academic growth.

    • Teach foundational literacy and math using the Science of Reading, Wilson Reading’s Fundations Curriculum, and Dimensions Math Curriculum.

    • Lead students in outdoor educational activities like nature walks, gardening, and ecological studies.

    • Develop hands-on projects that encourage problem-solving and collaboration.

    • Foster a positive classroom culture using restorative practices.

    • Work collaboratively with fellow educators and communicate regularly with families.

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education (K–2) or Elementary Education.

    • Experience in elementary education.

    • Passion for environmental education and project-based learning.

    • Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approach.

    • Physical stamina for outdoor activities and a love for wildlife.

    • Ability to document learning through photos and written reflections.

    • Yearly renewable position from late July to the end of May.

    • Optional summer camp opportunities.

    • Paid planning time weekly

    • Paid time off: about 28 days

    • Paid In-Service days: 22 days

    • Paid personal time: 48 hours

    • Paid sick time: 40 hours

    • Monthly $200 stipend for health care or IRA.

  • From $22–$25/hour based on experience and degrees.
