Design and deliver an interdisciplinary, emergent project-based curriculum.
Integrate Tennessee Standards to ensure academic growth.
Teach foundational literacy and math using the Science of Reading, Wilson Reading’s Fundations Curriculum, and Dimensions Math Curriculum.
Lead students in outdoor educational activities like nature walks, gardening, and ecological studies.
Develop hands-on projects that encourage problem-solving and collaboration.
Foster a positive classroom culture using restorative practices.
Work collaboratively with fellow educators and communicate regularly with families.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education (K–2) or Elementary Education.
Experience in elementary education.
Passion for environmental education and project-based learning.
Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approach.
Physical stamina for outdoor activities and a love for wildlife.
Ability to document learning through photos and written reflections.

Yearly renewable position from late July to the end of May.
Optional summer camp opportunities.
Paid planning time weekly
Paid time off: about 28 days
Paid In-Service days: 22 days
Paid personal time: 48 hours
Paid sick time: 40 hours
Monthly $200 stipend for health care or IRA.
Worker’s Compensation Insurance
